6 chicks + a baby!

Well, life is moving along and my babes are growing quickly enough to inspire me to start blogging again.  They change so quickly and it seems to be the best way to keep track of all the memories! Since my last post we have added a baby (now a toddler) and 6 chicks!

Life is busy but so so good. As I type this Laynie is in the front yard with the neighbor kids chasing our chicks around (our house is now the "cool" place to hang out thanks to Dusty, Luna and Chicka) while Logan chases a remote control car around the kitchen while Hudson steers it this way and that.

The three kiddos are such pals and each of them are learning new things each day.  Laynie is on the verge of reading everything in sight, Hudson is acquiring the skill of writing his own name and Logan  is toddling about as a "beginner walker".   They have their own unique personalities but they are also a "team"...they are each others playmates, protectors, confidantes and partners in crime.

This weekend I happen to have more pictures of the chicks than the kids but will remedy that soon and post again!

These are the "big girls".  Logan asks for the "gicks"  day and night and has no greater pleasure in life than chasing them endlessly.  Thankfully they are faster than him (for now) and therefore safe from his sticky fingers.

These are our newest little sweeties, Jake, Izzy and Cubby.  My children are in love and rightfully so.
