It all started with a tree....

I am going to try and post some of the going-on's of December over the next couple days.  For us, Christmas began when we got our tree.

"Hey mom! What is this doing in here?"

Decking the halls.......

Jeff and I bought this ornament for Laynie while we were at Disney last year.  For us it represents both our trip and her Norwegian heritage....It is from Norway at Epcot which is probably the closest we will get to "visiting her roots" :)

Last year I gave Jeff this red plane ornament in memory of his Grandpa Williams.  Grandpa flew a coursier while in the military .

Once the tree was up, Laynie loved helping her dad water it each day.  She absolutely adores him!

Recap of '10

January

This time last year I still had a baby instead of a toddler.  An absolutely darling baby I might add.....

February
Auntie Val and Abbey came to visit!  Val took these cute V-day pics of Laynie while she was here.

Jeff and I spent Valentine's day sledding with out nieces and then going out for a nice dinner.

At the end of the month we moved into our new home!

March

We spent March enjoying the new house and learning how to crawl.

April

In April we completely tore our house apart.....

and said goodbye to some very dear friends.

May

Went to Kansas to meet Ava and give "the men" a chance to get my house put back together :-)

June

Growing and learning.......

July

July was filled with vacations, weddings and L's first Birthday!

August

August was pretty much consumed by my sister's wedding...which was fine by me! She has the most amazing style and her wedding day portrayed that perfectly.

September

Soaking up every last minute of warm weather....

October

October was a busy month! We had play dates galore, the pumpkin fest, Studio K and praise service at church, Halloween, family pics and a trip up north to see Jason Mraz in concert!

November

November was a busy month as well.  The highlight of which was of course, Thanksgiving.  Jeff had a few days off and we enjoyed the time going to the children's museum, decorating for Christmas and spending time with family.

We also bought a new car and did a TON of work on the house! Woohoo!

December

Oh my, I could pretty much do an entire post on the month of December (and hopefully will soon) but it can pretty much be summed up in this one picture.....

Happy New Year!
