Buddy boy LOVES books! He will sit and listen to 3-4 books in a row which seems like a pretty long attention span for 7 months. Then again he is also the only 7 month old I know who crawls all over the place and pulls them self up on things. We joke that he thinks he is 1..someone needs to tell him that he is just my little baby!
Laynie is learning SO much these days! Her brain is like a little sponge. Her vocabulary has practically doubled in the last few months and she we are slowly working on the sounds for letters.

...and it's a good thing I do because I see a lot of it! Whenever I see this face I know that "negotiations" are about to begin. Here we were negotiating whether or not she could cross the road by herself while I followed with Hudson because she "was not going to be nervous at all...and you just look, look both ways...and then go, and you be safe safe safe!" Hmm...She lost this round but I am embarrassed to say that she wins quite a few.
Playing the flower game during Hudson's nap. This and "pretty pretty princess" are her favorites! We play this almost every day and I almost always lose...because the rules randomly change from day to day.
This picture is so her because her bangs are ALWAYS hanging in her face! If I'm lucky I can sneak a clip in in the morning but it has always gone missing by lunch time.
Who could guess the joy found by opening a box only to discover another box! So funny!
The cauliflower game. Laynie closes her eyes and I dip a piece of cauliflower in a "surprise" dip, then she guesses what it is. She ate that entire bowl of cauliflower playing this game! Turns out that honey barbeque sauce is surprisingly good on cauliflower..who knew?!?
Hudson always wakes up SO happy! I love his smiles and cuddles first thing after nap!
"Goodmorning baby boy!"...I love how Laynie's sweet little voice coos to him! She is such an awesome big sister!
