When Aud stopped by my house on the evening of August 2nd I just knew it was the night! I could see it in her eyes even though she tried to brush off the contractions that she was clearly having. I was still in the throws of morning sickness so decided I had better get right in bed and get as much rest as I could. Sure enough, just a few hours later we were all up at the hospital waiting for baby Hunters big arrival! Being able to be there with my mom and all my sisters was one of the best experiences. After being there for Calebs delivery I didn't think anything could be better....but having Hail and Kate with us this time made things even more incredible.
Highlights from July included spending the 4th with good friends, family vacation with Jeff's side of the family, many many trips to the garden with Audrey and Caleb, afternoons spent at the beach and schoolwork done in the great outdoors!
Painting some penguins after learning about them all week!
My little troublemakers....
Poor Hudson stepped on a ground nest of hornets one afternoon while playing in our backyard. It was a pretty scary moment and he had 13 painful looking stings. It made for a rough evening but he bounced back really quickly and was outside playing again by the next morning....although he is now quite afraid of bees...understandably. :)
Laynie turned 6 and celebrated with a big ole' stack of donuts!
